Introduction

The Modbus Slave TCP/IP Channel Tag Channel Tag Icon provides a TCP/IP Server that receives and processes Modbus commands from other Modbus drivers.

Configuration Properties

The Modbus Slave TCP/IP channel supports the properties of the Modbus Slave Channel Tag plus these properties:

Property Type Version Description
PortNumber UINT 3.10 The TCP/IP port number the server listens for connection on. The default port number for Modbus is 502.
ConnectionLimit UINT 3.10 The maximum number of simultaneous connections on this channel.
IdleTimeout TIME 3.10 The maximum time allowed for a connection to be idle before it is disconnected.
